Description:

German Physician, Anatomist, and Educator

-Studied and taught anatomy and physiology at Leipzig

-Interested in sensory processes other than vision and hearing

-Used the two-point threshold to map relative sensitivity of various locations on the skin in order to show a mathematical relationship between physiological and physical phenomena

-Discovered "muscle sense", what is now "kinesthesis"

-Established Psychophysics (later known as Weber's Law)

-Weber's Law consisted of:
a) "JND" (Just Noticeable Differences)
b) "S" (stimulus)
c) "K" (constant)
