Description:
-Coined the term "phrenology"-Worked with Gall originally, but ended up branching off to expand research
-Created a curriculum in order to teach phrenology
-Believed the brain was analogous to a muscle--its faculties could be exercised and strengthened through education and self-help
-Also convinced that skull size was directly related to level of intelligence
