Enlightment begins (1 janv. 1715 – 1 janv. 1789)
Description:
The Enlightenment was a time of curiosity and optimism after the Middle Ages. Many people started to come up with new ideas during this time, these ideas would later contribute to the start of revolutions in many countries. These thinkers include Thomas Hobbes who believed people need government to have order, John Locke who believed that people were born with natural rights, and Mary Wollstonecraft who demanded women rights.
