Charles personal rule (2 mars 1629 – 1 nov 1640)

Description:

so Charles dealt with this very well with not having a parliament for 11 years as being a backbone. so starting Charles needed money and within this, he increase taxes as always but also got all the taxes for shipment payment across the ship with importing and exporting goods around which was a good steady income.
now with no parliament telling James what he can and can't do, he appointed whoever he wanted for things. like for instead in 1633, he appoint William to laud the head of the church of England as he was trusted by James. this act upset the puritans (this was because the new leader want to change a lot of things in the churches like the appearance of them looking now lively now the puritan thought this was a sign that Charles wanted to make England a catholicism country / Catholic) but as well know Charles didn't really care about puritans. we clearly destroying the Jacobethan balance with showing favouritism toward the religion Arminianism. also, in 1633 Charles appointed a man called Thomas Wentworth to go and sort out Ireland and take and take control over it and this worked a bit. also with his personal rule James try to add a new reform of religion (adding a new book of praying) to Scotland to try and control them as well as religiously. and Scotland burnt the book and disagree heavily with James which he saw as a threat so could force into it. with starting the bishop war in 1639.
