James I (1 janv. 1603 – 1 janv. 1625)

Description:

Tudor family dies out after Elizabeth. Stuart dynasty takes the throne (previously only ruled in Scotland). He persecuted Puritans, particularly for their preference for a presbytery instead of a monarchy (which threatened James I's throne). House of Commons had a great Puritan influence.
