Description:
Wars between The Persians and Sparta/Athens, was caused by the help of Athens in the Ionian revolts in 499 BC, Darius I launched an expedition to punish Athens. The fighting shifted to the west coast of Asia Minor after the defeat of the Persian in the Battle of Plataea in 479 BC. the fighting came to an end in 449 after the Peace of Callias
