Description:
- Was created on East Island in Rapa Nui by the people inhabiting the island- Created from volcanic rock with a basalt base
- The purpose of this piece was to protect the people of the island and overlook them. In addition each head represented high ranking and founding members of the island.
- Were many all over the island
