Description:
- Was from the Torres Strait Islanders of Australia
- Unknown artist, but was for the people of the Torres Strait who partook in ceremonies
- Created from turtle shells, wood, cassowary feathers, and paint.
- The purpose of the piece was to remember and honor dead ancestors because it was used in a ceremony of rememberance. In addition, was used to reenact the events of superb heroes in their culture
