'Ahu 'ula (Feather cape) Before 1850 CE (cape pictured was gifted in 1779 CE) (Pacific) (1 janv. 1750 – 1 janv. 1850)

Description:

- Made in Hawaii
- Made out of netting and red and yellow feathers
- Depicted simple geometrical motifs with alternative amounts of colors of red and yellow depending on his bearer's status. Were often circular shaped, before were trapezoidal.
- Was meant to represent the status of his bearer within Hawaiian society, was often reserved to nobility and warriors who would wear capes like these into battle
