Addressing Health Literacy in Primary Care (1 janv. 2005 – 31 déc. 2006)
Description:
ACU conducted a study of primary care health facilities that serve underserved populations to assess health literacy practices or activities targeted at improving patient-clinician communication. Subsequently, ACU developed a training program to teach health clinic staff on how to incorporate best practices in health literacy, language access and cultural competency in caring for the underserved.
