Description:
King Djoser is very significant as he is the first Pharaoh to have built a pyramid. it is named the Step Pyramid, as it is multiple mastaba's (original tombs of the kings) stacked on top of each other to give it a step like appearance. It was designed by the famous Egyptian architect Imhotep, Djoser's vizier.
