Pharaoh Peribsen/Sekhemib (1 janv. 2790 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 2770 av. J.-C.)
Description:
King Peribsen is significant as he is known for replacing his name from Horus to Seth. This event indicates a religious shift in Egypt at the time. He is also thought to be the first monotheist, but this is dismissed by many as multiple gods were around during his reign. He is thought to bring back bureaucracy in Egypt and increase the use of literacy and religious practice. The first complete Egyptian sentence dates backs to his reign.
