Sweyn Forkbeard led Viking raids on England (1 janv. 1002 – 25 déc. 1013)

Description:

Forkbeard invaded England because of the assassination of Danes in England by Æthelred. However, it is believed that this was mostly motivated by the prospect of new land. This raid also led to the exile of Æthelred and his two sons making Sweyn Forkbeard the King of England.
