From age 13 to 16 Alexander is tutored by one of the greatest Ancient Greek Philosophers and prominent intellectual figures of Western history, Aristotle. Aristotle is the student of Plato who was the student of the legendary Socrates, all influential figures in western philosophy and creative thought. Aristotle inspires Alexander with an interest in philosophy, medicine, and scientific investigation. It’s easy to come to the conclusion that the Greek thinker has a profound impact on the young Macedonian and that his teachings would help Alexander in his later exploits.
