Description:
The First Battle of the Marne was the battle of the French army and the British Expeditionary Force against the Germans who were advancing into Belgium and northeastern France. This battle included the use of radio intercepts along with automotive transport of troops. Besides these technological advancements, this battle marked the beginning of a phase known as "trench warfare". This battle resulted in an Allied victory against the German troops.
