Description:
Again, the Vietnam War was fought because the U.S. wanted to contain communism (among other things). North Vietnam wanted to unite all of Vietnam under a communist regime, and South Vietnam didn't want that. Neither did the U.S., so they fought alongside the South, and China aided the North.
