Before the US even joined the war, Japanese and American relations were rough.
The United States officially joined the war after Pearl Harbor. The Big Three in this war were Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill. They planned the D-Day attack. They were to target Hitler before they were to target Japan. They beat the Germans and the book says the Americans accelerated the victory by dropping atomic bombs.
