Description:
o Transistors are tiny switches which are triggered by electric signals.
o After many failed attempts, the first transistor was made back in 1947 by John Bardeen and Walter Brattain with the help of William Shockley.
o Computers moved from the simplest coding to a low-level programming language known as ‘assembly language’ thanks to transistors.
o Made computers cheaper and smaller.
