Russian Revolution (8 mars 1917 – 7 nov 1917)

Description:

Two Revolutions:
February Revolution: (Mar 8 - 12) The monarchy of the Russian Government is overthrown by the middle-class and replaced with a provisional government
October Revolution: (Nov 6 - 7) The provisional government set up following the abdication of the throne by the Russian monarchy is overthrown by the Bolshevik Party. This overthrowing by the Bolshevik Party allowed for the creation of the Russian Soviet government.

Following the February Revolution, Stalin briefly encouraged the Bolsheviks to cooperate with the provisional government but was soon persuaded by Lenin to advocate for the militant seizing of power for control by the Bolsheviks.
