Crisis of the 3rd Century (1 janv. 235 – 1 janv. 284)

Description:

The Crisis of the 3rd century aka Military Anarchy or the Imperial Crisis was when the Roman Empire had nearly collapsed from a myriad of challenges. At this time the empire had split into three competing states; The Gallic Empire, the Palmyrene Empire, and the proper Roman Empire. They also faced such threats as alien or "Barbarian" attacks and migration as well as internal revolts, rebellions, and civil wars. Despite the reuniting of the empire, this event was extremely important as it completely disputed the trade network of Rome and supported the downfall of the empire.
