Description:
Bolsheviks overthrow the republican government and throw Russia into a civil war.- 6th November: An uprising erupts in Petrograd, Bolshevik Red Guard and sailors take over the city and start occupying government buildings.
- 7th November: Bolsheviks capture the Winter Palace which was the seat of the Provisional Government.
