Description:
Aggressions were instigated when China destroyed over 1,400 tons of opium, Britain being the highest exporter. Hot conflict broke out when British war ships attacked and occupied Canton and Nanjing a year later. The treaty of Nanjing ended conflicts later in August of 1842.Ajouté au bande de temps:
