鍾有执 (Rodolfo) arrived in Demerara，British Guyana
( today’s Georgetown，Guyana, at the eastern bank of the river Demerara), working for this company.
 (British Guyana is today’s Guyana. The family name Chung has been a prominent clan in the Guyana society up to the present days).
 He joined the Freemason organization ( Loja Maconica) and was greatly interested in the revolutionary movement led by Dr. Sun Yat San to overthrow the Manchurian government.
 The youngest son of the wealthy family got involved in local politics and got into a scandal. As a result, the banking business failed as a result of an incident involving simultaneous withdrawal of funds by customers and the banking cooperation went bankrupt.
 鍾有执 (Rodolfo) left the company and opened an orchard in British Guyana.
 In 1912, the Manchurian government was overthrown by Dr. Sun Yat Sen. Upon the founding of the Republic of China,鍾有执 changed his name to 鍾民强, meaning the people are strong and cut off his pony tail (see photo).
 First world war broke out in 1914. All his assets got frozen and the orchard failed.
 He 1915, he decided to leave Demerara, quit the Freemason and tried to find his way in a new world， Brazil.
