R. Albert Mohler, Jr. (1959-) (1 janv. 1959 – 1 janv. 2021)
Description:
Mohler received a call to ministry at a young age, being licensed for ministry in 1978 and ordained in 1982. Soon after graduating with a Th.D. from SBTS, he succeeded Roy Honeycutt’s position as President of the seminary at the age of thirty-three (1993). In taking office, Mohler restored Southern Seminary to orthodox Southern Baptist Christianity, a task which required an immovable vision and the grace of God. Alongside his ministry at the seminary, Mohler continues to influence the world as a speaker and writer on issues of theology, culture, politics, and ethics. His impact on the SBC is undoubtedly positive, and he continues to enrich his legacy to this very day.
