Description:
The Kansas-Nebraska Act used popular sovereignty to let people of Kansas and Nebraska decide whether or not to be a slave state or a free state. Also, the 36/30 lateral line of the Missouri compromise was repealed. This is because both Kansas and Nebraska were north of this line.
