Shay's Rebellion (1 janv. 1786 – 1 janv. 1787)
Description:
Causes: money or lack of money. American Revolutionary War resulted massive war debt. Farmers protested against debt and property tax collection.Effects: exposed weakness of the government under Articles of Confederation which led many to call for strengthening the federal government in order to put down future uprising.
