Description:
During the Second World War, Great Britain relied on America to bring them supplies from overs seas. The merchant ships that were used to carry the much-needed supplies were extremely vulnerable to German U-boat submarines wishing to sever the supply chain heading to Britain. To protect the boats, they would group together in convoys accompanied by battleships.
