Description:

This is an important time period because it gave the colonies the freedom they have wanted for a long time and it was the birth of The United Sates of America. The Colonist wanted representation in England's parliament, but was never granted it, angering the colonists. With tension building higher and higher when additional taxes were put on the supplies for the Colonists, a war broke out. America wanting to split apart from England where England was fighting for them to remain as a colony.
