Current 300 acres- Crooked Creek Christian Camp

CCCC was established in 1980 by members of area congregations. To start off with, the property included about 56 acres sold to the camp by Roger Roth and Glen Widmer (from the East 100 acres). About 118 acres were acquired from Vernon and Lois Roth the following year (from the West 200 acres). A small land exchange was made in 1982 (on East 100 acres). About 37 acres were donated by Roger Roth and Glen Widmer in 1998 (remainder of the East 100 acres). The last 81 acres were acquired from Vernon and Lois Roth by purchase and donation in 1999 (remainder of the West 200 acres), completing the 300 acres that make up CCCC today.

A short book recounting the formation and first 25 years of the camp was written by Roger Roth in 2005, and is available at the camp welcome center. It is called: Celebrating God's Faithfulness.
