Parts of Mashafa Kedus & "Deuterocanonical" Texts [likely historical dates of composition] (1 janv. 300 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 130)
Description:
Many sacred texts, such as the Book of Enoch and the Book of Ben Sira, were composed by the Jewish communities in Egypt and the Land of Israel during this time period, often reflecting Hellenistic thought. The genres include history, wisdom literature, and reflections about angels.
These books were not incorporated into the Hebrew bible, however many are accepted by Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews) as part of their version of the Bible (the Mashafa Kedus), alongside the text of the Tanakh.
Academic and Christian sources sometimes call these books "deuterocanonical," since they are "additions" to the standard canon of biblical texts.
