French Prussian War (19 juill. 1870 – 10 mai 1871)

Description:

The French-Prussian War was a war between France and the German states who were led by the Prussians. The France MOBILISED their army on the 15th of July and declared war on the 16th of July on Prussia. France began an OFFENSIVE on the 4th of august in the terrirory of the German states. Prussia and the German states defeated France which marked the end of the dominance of France in Europe.
France also lost Lorraine and Alsace to the newly formed German empire.
