Jefferson presidency (4 mars 1801 – 4 mars 1809)
Description:
Thomas Jefferson was America's third president when he won the election against Aaron Burr. He put a belief of the people ruling the government into process. During his presidency he made the Louisiana purchase, banned slavery, lowered government expenses and reduced the size of the US. army to its 1796 limits.
