Description:
Wilson became president on the campaign promise that he would keep the US out of the war (WWI) However, once he did become president, he won again on the promise that he would win the war. He kept the second promise. After the war was over his famous "14 points" were presented to the other world powers. They rejected the most important point and punished Germany completely for the war. This is argued by some to have created a perfect opportunity for the creation of WWIIAjouté au bande de temps:
