The Napoleonic Era (9 nov 1799 – 28 juin 1815)

Description:

During the Reign of Terror, France was still at war with Austria and Britain but won with the help of Corporal Napoleon Bonaparte. After he led a coup against the Directory, he was established as the First Consul of France in 1799. He was granted unlimited executive power under another constitution. Bonaparte was an Emporer and somewhat became more of an absolute monarch than Louis XVI. He established order in the country and won the confidence of France's citizens.
