Khmer Empire (802-1431 C.E.) (1 janv. 802 – 1 janv. 1432)
Description:
Controlling modern-day Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Southern Vietnam, they were mostly a Hindu country. Had a hierarchy that included kings, nobles, citizens, and slaves. They were good builders and architects, with lots of temples, canals, reservoirs, roads, and bridges. Fell when Thai colonies/settlements grew in power and attacked the empire.
