Mamluk Sulatnates (1250-1517 C.E.) (1 janv. 1250 – 1 janv. 1517)
Description:
Located in the region near Egypt and Syria. Created by slaves who had overthrown their leaders. Widely Muslim. The sultan was the ruler, but he delegated powers to lower governors. Primarily an agricultural people, but also big on trade and merchants.
