Yalta Conference (4 févr. 1945 – 11 févr. 1945)
Description:
- The Allied leaders Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin met
- The meeting took place at the Black Sea resort city of Yalta in the Soviet Union
- The men were called the "Big Three"
- The meeting unestablished numerous compromises that resulted in the decision to split Germany in four, giving each of the Allies a portion.
- The conference resulted in Stalin agreeing to help the Allies in the war against Japan and to attend an international conference in San Fransisco which would be the start of the United Nations
- The meeting was tense and the tension between the Soviet Union and other Allies began to grow
