Description:
Named after Queen Victoria who ascended the throne in 1837. The Victorian era mainly focused on fiction novels. Victorian novels were usually idealized versions of difficult lives in which hard work, perseverance, love and luck would win in the end. They almost always had a happy ending and had some kind of moral lesson with the story.
