Ernest Rutherford's Model (1 janv. 1911 – 31 déc. 1911)
Description:
After conducting his famous Gold Foil experiment, Ernest Rutherford, a British-New Zealand physicist, proposed his atomic model. Rutherford's model was dubbed the planetary model because of its design. This model is revolutionary as it proposed the idea that there is a dense positive atomic nucleus around which electrons revolve. Rutherford's represented his model as a miniature solar system, hence the model's name.
