Description:

Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States was put into office March 4, 1801. He was the Author of The Declaration of Independence and a Virginia legislature and the Continental Congress and was governor of Virginia. One of his most significant achievements was the Louisiana Purchase. Jefferson was later re- elected as president.
