The Age of Discovery is also known as the Age of Exploration. It was most notable for the discovery of the Americas and globalization. It was a time when brave explorers charted new courses looking for land wealth and power. Many of these explores are Christopher Columbus, Marco Polo, Amelia Earhart, Henry Hudson, and Sacagawea.
