1st Industrial Revolution (1 janv. 1760 – 1 janv. 1840)
Description:
Great Britain was the birth place if the revolution There was a lot of farming and food. Animals and machines where used to help make the work load less and go faster. Steam engines and ships were able to get more power. The production of cotton also increased. Iron and steel seemed more accessible. In 1750 15% of the people lived in a city. In 1850 there was 50% living in the city. Then in 1900 85% lived in the city. The cities became crowded and they were not great conditions to live in.
