Anaximander (1 janv. 610 av. J.-C. – 31 déc. 546 av. J.-C.)

Description:

Anaximander believed that the world was composed of two pairs of opposites: the hot and the cold, and the wet and the dry. These qualities would correspond to the four primary substances: fire, earth, water, and wind. He came to the conclusion that the things within our universe are unique.
"There are many worlds and many systems of Universes existing all at the same time, all of them perishable."
