Description:
Rehoboam, Solomon's son was 41yrs old when he became King over the southern tribe of Judah. He reigned 17 years (1 Kings 14/21)He was made king in Shechem but fled to Jerusalem after Israel stoned Hadoram, the treasurer, for trying to impose taxes heavier than Solomon had levied on the people. (1 Chron 10/18)
