1306-1329 Robert the Bruce, King of Scots
After Robert’s weak predecessor died, the King of England, Edward I, tried to annex Scotland into England. The Scots did not accept English rule and after 10 years they started the second war of Scottish independence. Over time Robert won the Scots independence over time, and was king until 1329 when he died.
