Hamadan Operation (16 déc. 1915 – 22 déc. 1915)

Description:

On December 3 (16), Russian troops occupied Hamadan, and then defeated enemy sabotage units in the area of Borujerd , Douletabad , and Kuma. Kum was busy on December 9 (22). The Khorasan detachment, advanced in December from the Turkestan military district, neutralized enemy sabotage groups traveling through southern Iran to the Afghan-Iranian border. The Khorasan detachment, together with the English detachment in Sistan, installed a moving curtain on the front of Birgent , Sistan , and the Gulf of Oman , preventing the penetration of German-Turkish agents into Afghanistan. As a result, the Khorasan detachment managed to secure the left flank of the Caucasian army from the actions of enemy troops in this region.
