Immigration
Numbers (1 janv. 1950 – 1 janv. 1960)
Description:
After WW ll migration numbers were exceptionally high. The migrants were coming from the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Malta, Germany and Turkey. This was part of the Populate or Perish migration policy. Arthur Calwell thought that the more people, the better economy. So he let in lots of Europeans. But no Asians.
