Description:
The prophets taught the Oral Torah to the Men of the Great Assembly. According to Jewish tradition, the Great Assembly was a group of leading scholars (essentially the first rabbis) who over the generations wrote many Jewish prayers, as well as a few of the books of the Tanakh.
