Description:
The Tanakh consists of the written Torah (Five Books of Moses), Nevi'im (books of the prophets) and Ketuvim (books of writings).
The Torah was traditionally given at Mount Sinai during the Exodus, while the Nevi'im and Ketuvim were composed over the following centuries by prophets, poets, and chroniclers writing with divine inspiration. The Tanakh ends with the construction of the Second Temple.
