Reordered Periodic Table, despite atomic masses (6 h 26 min, 1 janv. 1906 ans – 20 h 28 min, 31 déc. 1906 ans)
Description:
Changed weight of beryllium from 14 to 9, putting in in group 2 with more similar characteristics.
17 elements moved- indicated atomic weights were miscalculated.
Even after these, more needed reordering.
Gaps in periodic table filled later by gallium, scandium and germanium.
Mendeleev's research more extensive than Meyer's.
Predicted existence of 7 new elements- 3 not exist.
